WORLDWIDE

For some years now, numerous industrial nations have been focusing on the research and development of hydrogen as a future energy carrier. Due to the rapidly progressing climate change, the focus is on the production of "green" hydrogen, meaning hydrogen that can be obtained from renewable energy sources. In this regard, Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine is likely to accelerate the process in order to minimise and, at best, eliminate dependence on Russian gas and oil as quickly as possible. However, this will certainly be very difficult to achieve on one's own. Crucial questions will be: Which country will produce the hydrogen and how, who will transport it where, where will it be stored and ultimately for which end medium will it be used first?
